An exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse (min 5 years post registration) seeking a new challenge as a Nurse Manager.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £45 - 50k depending on experience

We are seeking someone to manage our friendly, reliable team and ensure the clinical efficiency of our well-respected surgery. The role will include general nursing clinics involving all treatment room duties which will ensure that you are able to maintain your competency in these areas.
About us
We are a friendly, forward-thinking GP practice whose clinical team includes GPs, a Physician’s Associate, two other Practice Nurses, a Healthcare Assistant, a Phlebotomist and a GP Assistant. Our team play an essential role in providing a caring, friendly and responsive service.
Serving a local patient population of 8,500 patients, we are proud to achieve consistently high QOF results, positive patient feedback and provide medical training for students and GP registrars.
Main responsibilities:
Management
To lead our nursing team in meeting practice objectives by ensuring effective staffing levels, maintaining clinical nursing standards, supervising by working alongside and developing the team to their full potential.
To support the management team in the completion of QOF, Flu & Covid vaccination programmes and new locally commissioned services to enhance patient care, service delivery and profitability.
Clinical
Ideally the candidate will be proficient in several clinical areas including Asthma/COPD, women’s health and implants. An Independent Prescriber qualification is desirable, but not essential.

- You are a proactive leader with a ‘can do’ attitude
- You have previous involvement in implementing and using protocols and clinical guidelines
